【Bus】the easiest way
From Odawara Station, take Izu Hakone Bus (J) bound for Kojiri or Bound for Hakone-en No. 5. 39 minutes.
(Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, etc. are one-lane roads, so there will be a lot of traffic.1 hour 30 minutes)
Get off Sounzankami"stopping station number 845" and it will be right in front of you. 1 minute walk!
*Izu Hakone Bus.Do not take Hakone Tozan Bus by mistake!
There are many curves on quite a mountain road, and the driver's driving is often rough.
If you get carsick, please take motion sickness medicine before boarding.
(There were some customers who didn't want to eat because they felt sick during their trip and couldn't eat dinner, and couldn't do anything for half a day.)
【Hakone Tozan Railway】
Take a train from Odawara Station to Hakone-Yumoto Station and change trains
Ride from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Gora Station on the Hakone Hakone Tozan Railway
Take Hakone Tozan Cable Car from Gora Station, get off at Sounzan Station, and walk for 7 minutes.
(Total about 1 hour and 10 minutes, depending on the timing of transfers.)
*There are no taxis at Sounzan Station.It takes about 7 minutes on foot on a gentle uphill, so if you are elderly or have a lot of luggage and would like to use a taxi, please use a taxi at Gora Station.(About 1000 yen for about 5 minutes)
For 3 or more people, a taxi is cheaper than the cable car (440 yen per person)!
*There are many transfers, but I don't think you will get lost because they are all on the same platform.
